Music Theory For Musical Improvisers with Brian Robinson
This interactive workshop is designed to teach basic music theory principles for use in musical improv comedy. No background in music theory or ability to read music required. Participants will learn basic music theory structure, how to identify common musical patterns, and how to connect emotionally to what’s being played. This workshop is not designed to “teach” musical improv, it is more focused on the music theory behind it, so participants will get the most out of this workshop if they already have a background in improv and have some exposure to musical improv.
